Fingerprint Door Access
Would you like to open your door with a fingerprint reader?
Fingerprint recognition technology rests on the principle of verifying identity using each person's unique fingerprint. In recent years this technology has become popular in many areas such as access control, smartphones, computers and banking transactions. Among the systems used to control and record entries and exits at doors, the most popular is without doubt the fingerprint reader. Removing the weakness of a card being handed to somebody else, this system is very easy to install and to use. There are two ways to open a door with a fingerprint.
1 - Opening the door with a fingerprint door handle
The fingerprint reader, the electronic lock and the door handle are three in one. It runs on batteries and, depending on the device specification, needs no battery change for around 1,000 passages on average. It warns that the battery must be changed by giving an alert during the last 100 passages before the battery runs out. Even all ten fingers of one person can be enrolled on the system. If one finger is damaged, entry can be made with one of the remaining nine fingerprints. As well as passing by presenting a fingerprint, entry can also be made with a proximity card, a PIN or a classic mechanical key if desired. On average 300, or up to 500 if required, fingerprints can be enrolled on the fingerprint door handle.
2 - Opening the door with a fingerprint reader device
The fingerprint reading terminal is mounted in a suitable place beside the door. An electronic or magnetic door lock is fitted to the door and connected to the fingerprint reader. The fingerprints of the people allowed through are enrolled on the device. When an enrolled person presents their fingerprint, a Turkish female voice announces "thank you", a trigger is sent to the door lock and the door is opened. The fingerprint devices are IP based, so entry and exit reports can be taken from the access control software on the network, and all doors can be opened or all passages stopped instantly. There are square or rectangular fingerprint models depending on the shape of the door; you can review the models we import below, which vary by enrolment capacity, fingerprint reading capacity, fingerprint sensor and recognition speed.
